Burberry A/W 2015 Collection: Los Angeles Meets London

Los Angeles is becoming another fashion capital, and why not? It's beautiful and design labels such as Tom Ford and Saint Laurent have both flocked here for various shows and events, the latest one to do so being Burberry on Friday. The Griffith Observatory at Griffith Park was taken over for the night by Christopher Bailey, Chief Executive Officer, for the first time ever. Burberry may have hosted their show in America but they stayed true to their British roots with a London themed evening for their Autumn/ Winter 2015 Ready to Wear collection attended by celebrities such as Elton John, the Beckham's Cara Delaving,Suki Waterhouse, Rosie Huntingdon-Whitley and Anna Wintor.

As models walked down the runway to the likes of George Ezra, Tom Oddel and Clare Maguire he was the front row who were watching.

I loved the pattern work and romantic colour palette used; teal, magenta, rouge, navy and olive. They were all pieces people could wear easily this autumn/winter; heavily fringed poncho's, vintage pattern dresses, over sized coats, dark tote bags, mosaic crop tops and suede boots. One of my favourite garments were the quilted floral jackets, I think a cheaper copy will find its way into my wardrobe this winter. The whole event was beautifully planned from the plants freshly laid as the audience arrived to the First Battalion Grenadier Guards on the runway and the collection was amazing, defiantly be a talking point in the fashion world.
