The Brit Awards 2015

So yesterday was the Brit awards, and wow what a show, the O2 did look amazing, most people have heard about Madonna's little fall, in fact if you type 'the Brits' into google the top results are Madonnas accident and in fact Vogue dedicated a whole article on it. But apart from that, Kanye's performance stirred some opinions and Ed Sheeran gave an amazing performance. So for those who haven't yet seen it, or want a reminder here is a count by count guide to the Brit Awards 2015.

19:10 Starting just before, Kanye stood on a table at Nando's at the O2 saying 'I'm just gonna stand here on this table so you can all take photos' where he was eating with Kim

19:37 Calvin Harris spoke about getting a 'free meal' tonight while on the red carpet, but apparently what's on offer isn't up to scratch.

20:04 Taylor Swift performed 'Blank Space' in a beautiful black play suit.

20:12 Rita Ora and Orlando Bloom go on stage to present the award for best British Male Solo Artist which Ed Sheeran won.

20:20 Led Zeppelin presents for Best British Group which Royal Blood won.

20:26 Sam Smith performs 'Lay me down'

20:29 Ant and Dec chat with Ed Sheeran. Highlight of this was Ant and Ed ruffling each others hair aw.

20:35 Presenter Bingo starts to 'decide' who will present next.

20:36 Ellie Goulding and Lewis Hamilton present for the Best International Female Solo Artist; Taylor Swift wins (Kanye doesn't go on stage this time...) Louis makes a joke about Ellie wearing a wedding dress and she jokingly says she'll marry him- went down rather awkwardly.

20:39 Royal Blood perform live

20:50 Mark Ronson presents the Best British Female Solo Artist Award the deserving Paloma Faith wins.

20:54 Paloma is giving a long speech to thank everyone, talking about when she used to display her posters illegally and get arrested and how far she has come now, as fans put up posters of her...legally.

20:57 Ed Sheeran is singing, very impressive as per usual.

21:07 Kim Kardashian West is on stage to present the Global Success Award which Sam smith wins.

21:11 Kim told everyone to get to their feet for Kanye's performance.

21:14 Kanye performs 'All Day' and most of his lyrics are muted which is awkward. There is mixed opinions on the actual performance. It was censored because the song was confirmed that morning and as it was a new song they didn't know which were the bits meant to be censored.

21:17 Cara Delevingne presents the award for best International Male Solo Artist which Pharrell Williams won. She also asks if she can be the meat in between Ant and Dec Hahaha.

21:27 Take That perform,(Yeah all three members) no muted words in their perfomance.

21:31 Lisa Snowdon and Lionel Richie present Best British Single which Uptown Funk wins.

21:37 John Bishop presents Best International Group which Foo Fighters win, they aren't there to receive the award but had a pre-recorded message which has semi-respectable effort as if they wished they were there.

21:41 George Ezra performs Budapest. Yesss.

21:48 Fearne Cotton and Charli XCX present Best British Breakthrough Act which Sam Smith wins.

21:53 Paloma Faith performed Only Love can Hurt like This. It's raining, dancers are dancing in the rain. It's dramatic and I approve.

21:54 It's raining on Paloma now, I still approve.

21:57 Karlie Kloss and Jimmy Carr are on stage to present the award for Best British Video. Which One Direction won for 'You and I' they are not there so Simon Cowell stands in.

22:07 Russell Crowe present the British Album of the Year Award. Which Ed Sheeran wins for his album 'X'

22:12 The 56 year old singer Madonna performs 'Living for Love' from her album 'Rebel Heart' after 20 years of no performances.

22:15 Oh Dear..

22:16 Madonna gets pulled of the stage after a wardrobe malfunction; her cape won't untie and the dancer pulls it and she falls down the stairs.

22:17 Madonna gets back up and carries on, if that was me I'd still be on the floor...

22:20 Ant and Dec close the show with Cara Delavinge being the 'meat' in the middle of them both.

There you have it, the Brits 2015, what an eventful night. I hope you agree that those awarded did deserve their awards but it was tough competition.
