2015 S/S Make-up Tutorial
Backstage, a Sally Lapointe model.
So I started by applying Benefit's Pure Brightening 'That Gal' Primer, to my forehead, nose and chin and next I applied 'Bare Minerals Brightening Foundation' which I have reviewed here, in a thin layer. Then applied a transparent setting powder next i put 'Benefit's High beam' highligher on the top of my cheek bones. With a contour brush I swept thinly 'Seventeens matte bronzed' under my cheek bones, also to the apples of my cheeks and outwards towards my temples I applied Bare Minerals Blusher in the colour 'promise'. I next used 'Stay don't Stray' primer on my eyelids, which I followed by using Mac's 'Stroke of Midnight's Palette with the colour 'Romance Me' (which is no longer a thing but is also found in the 'Stroke of midnight Cinderella collection' ) coloured eye shadow to the outer point of my eyes and blended with a blending brush. Using a eyelash curler I curled my lashes and then applied They're real mascara. For my eyebrows, I filled them in with Benefits eyebrow palette and I was done.
To complete the look do some boho style curls, inspired by the runways of Valentino to Chanel by putting your hair in a bun while damp and once taken out, adding salt spray to the end.
So the few who read my blog a while back when it was 'Apple Crumble and Fish' may remember the winner of my nail art competition; Xyza, over on her blog she has a Nail tutorial for spring. If you haven't already go check out her blog to update your nails.
