This Weeks Inspiration: Chloë Sevigny

Chloë Sevingy is a American actress, designer and former model. She gained a reputation for her fashion sense and became well known in the fashion industry by modelling and working as an intern at 'Sassy Magazine' which labelled her the new 'it girl' of her time. She's played in various films such as 'Boys don't cry' and recently been in 'American Horror Story'. She won Vogue's approval as a 'fashion icon' helping her climb only higher in the industry. Her modelling went as far as collaborations with Louis Vuitton, H&M, Mui Mui and Mac Cosmetics. She has done so much for someone of the age of 40. Another thing recently under her belt is publishing a book; Chloë's book comes out today, a homonymous monograph which is home to hundreds of beautiful photos. 222 pages illustrating her life and to celebrate this here are some of her most famous photos.

This final picture is the cover to her book, coming out today (but it will depend on where you live as well) Here are my favourites of her pictures, will you be buying her book? I would love to get my hands on it, it looks so good.

MTV Movie Awards Best Dressed

It's a long time since I've done a 'Best Dressed' post and to be honest, I've missed them. So I was very excited to have an event to stalk the outfits every celebrity was wearing and then be able to concoct a short list of the best dressed stars at the MTV Awards which was held at the Nokia Theater on Sunday.

I loved Tinashe's Adam Selman dress because of the pearl beads down the dress and on the neck and arms, it makes a change from a plain black dress, defiantly one of my favourites.

Cara Delevinge's Reem Acre dress was a gorgeous colour and paired with plain Saint Laurent heels made the dress center of attention. I loved it.

Zuri Hall's elegant black dress was beautiful, the lace detailing was very pretty and suited her so well.

Holland Roden's dress from Caterina Gatta paired with light blue heels was something so different, they complemented each other perfectly.

Charli XCX wore a Jeremy Scott trench coat from the autumn/winter 2015 collection. It was perfect for the spring event and a look seen too little on the red carpet.

I've never seen a crop top worn and made look classy on the red carpet quite like Kate Mara last night who wore a silk two piece from Cushnie et Ochs' pre-fall 2015 collection, the minimal approach looked lovely paired with rose gold heels.

Reese Witherspoon looked stunning with an elegant Mugler black and white dress from the fall 2015 collection teamed with wavy hair and minimal make up. I loved her lip colour it looked so good with the dress. (However I couldn't find very good picture of it and her dress, sorry)

So here were my favourite of the MTV award looks, I hope you agree they looked beautiful. Who were your favourites?

Elle Fanning: Birthday Style Dedication

So today is Elle Fanning's 17th Birthday, Elle is one of my favourite actors, she won me over the first time I saw her infectious smile in 'We Bought a Zoo' a few years ago. The gorgeous actor has also been in films such as Maleficent, Super 8, Somewhere and Low Down, but there are so many more. To celebrate her big day, I have found my favourite of her red carpet looks through the years.

The embroidery on this Marchesa Spring 2011 Cocktail dress, which she wore ELLE's 17th annual Women in Hollywood Tribute in 2010 is so beautiful. This was taken when she was just 12.

She wore a Valentino dress with Charlotte Olympia Sleeping Beauty Heels to the Maleficent Paris Press conference. I think the dress goes so well with her shoes, they compliment her pale complexion as well.

Looking like a Goddess, here the Georges Hobeika Couture gown from the autumn/winter 2013 collection she wore to the Maleficent private reception in London.

Elle Fanning last year, wearing a Ellie Saab gown, not only does she play royalty in Maleficent but looks the part in real life also.

So here are my favourite of her looks, what are yours? I can defiantly see her being a style icon very soon.
